Jets Football Team Sued by Cheerleaders for Minimum Wage Violations

Former members of the Jets cheerleaders, also known as the Flight Crew, filed a class action lawsuit in New Jersey state court against the football team for back wages.

Specifically, the complaint accused the Jets of failing to pay its cheerleaders mandatory practices and appearances, resulting in a pay rate below the New Jersey state minimum wage.

Similar lawsuits have already been filed against the Buffalo Bills, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Oakland Raiders.
