Milberg Partner Talks Internet Privacy Concerns

By on June 6, 2011

More and more people around the world are using social media networks. Facebook, the most popular social network today, has an estimated 600 million users worldwide. But most Internet users are unaware of the potential dangers posed by social networks to their privacy. Milberg partner Peter Seidman is representing consumers who have sued Facebook, LinkedIn and Myspace for alleged privacy violations. He talks to Class Action Central about the many ways Facebook and other social media networks could potentially violate consumer privacy.

Seidman also discussed two pending Internet consumer privacy bills in Congress: The 2011 Commercial Privacy Bill of Rights Act and Do Not Track Online Act of 2011.
