When to file a medical malpractice lawsuit?

Medical malpractice may happen when a health care supplier breaches malpractice laws and guidelines overseeing medical care which can result in harm or severe injury to a patient.  There are several instances where a medical malpractice lawsuit can be filed.  This includes misdiagnosis, prescription mistakes, surgery errors, elder care neglect, birth issues and more.

Some instances of medical malpractice include:

  • Inability to provide suitable handling for a medical situation
  • Misdiagnosis of, or failure to identify, an illness or medical condition
  • Unreasonable postponement in caring for a diagnosed medical condition
